Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd disclosed its operational performance for the month of June 2026, reporting cumulative sugar production of 69,549 metric tonnes (MTs) across its three manufacturing units. The data, covering the period up to June for the sugar season 2025-26, indicates a total cane crushing volume of 7,51,459 MTs and power generation of 928.19 Lakh Units.

The filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited detailed the production and sales figures for Unit I in Varadarajnagar, Unit II in Mundiyampakkam, and Unit III in Semmedu Village. The sugar season runs from October to September of the following year.

Unit I Performance

Unit I in Varadarajnagar, Theni District, reported cumulative cane crushing of 1,08,178 MTs up to June 2026, compared to 1,00,811 MTs in the corresponding period of the previous season. Sugar production reached 10,146 MTs, while sugar sales stood at 9,863 MTs for the current season.

The unit produced 6,233 MTs of molasses and recorded 57.29 Lakh Units of power generation, with 11.82 Lakh Units exported to the grid.

Unit II Performance

Unit II, located in Mundiyampakkam, Villupuram District, showed higher activity with 3,26,209 MTs of cane crushed up to June 2026, up from 2,76,552 MTs in the prior year. Sugar production for the period was 30,133 MTs, and sales totaled 35,064 MTs.

Molasses production reached 17,170 MTs. The unit generated 408.04 Lakh Units of power, exporting 287.56 Lakh Units to the grid.

Unit III Performance

Unit III in Semmedu Village, Villupuram District, crushed 3,17,072 MTs of cane, an increase from 2,50,114 MTs in the previous season. Cumulative sugar production was 29,270 MTs, with sales at 32,863 MTs.

The unit produced 15,700 MTs of molasses. Power generation stood at 462.86 Lakh Units, with 266.45 Lakh Units exported to the grid.

Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Limited reported a total income of ₹54,894.36 lakh and a net profit of ₹113.59 lakh for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The company's operational performance included sugar production of 98,521 MT and power generation of 1,376 lakh units. The Board has recommended the reappointment of Mr. R. Varadarajan as Wholetime Director and the appointment of M/s. Karthikeyan & Jayaram as Statutory Auditors for a five-year term.

The company has scheduled its 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for July 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM through video conferencing. The meeting will be held at the company's registered office in Coimbatore. Pursuant to Section 91 of the Companies Act, 2013, the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books will remain closed from July 17, 2026, to July 23, 2026. The remote e-voting facility will be available from July 20, 2026, at 9:00 AM to July 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM, with the cut-off date for eligibility being July 16, 2026.

Financial Performance

The company achieved a turnover of ₹54,467.74 lakh for the financial year 2025-26. The net profit before tax was ₹191.67 lakh, and the net profit after tax stood at ₹113.59 lakh. The Board has not recommended any dividend for the year 2025-26 to conserve financial resources for operational requirements.

Operational Highlights

During FY 2025-26, the Sugar Division crushed 11,29,060 MT of sugarcane with a recovery rate of 8.73%. The Cogeneration Division produced 1,376 lakh units of power, exporting 831 lakh units to the grid. The Distillery Division produced 177 lakh litres of alcohol, with sales volume reaching 169 lakh litres.

Board and Auditor Appointments

The Board has recommended the reappointment of Mr. R. Varadarajan (DIN: 00001738) as Wholetime Director for a period of five years from June 5, 2026. The remuneration package includes a salary of ₹10,00,000 per month and variable pay. Additionally, the Board has proposed the appointment of M/s. Karthikeyan & Jayaram, Chartered Accountants, as Statutory Auditors for the financial years 2026-27 to 2030-31, replacing the existing auditors M/s. S. Krishnamoorthy & Co.

The company has also ratified the remuneration of ₹2.50 lakh payable to M/s. S. Mahadevan & Co., Cost Auditors, for the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
