Unit I Performance

Unit I, located in Varadarajnagar, Theni District, remained active during May 2026. The facility crushed 13,420 MTs of cane, bringing the total crushed in the current season to 1,08,178 MTs, compared to 1,00,811 MTs in the same period of the previous season. Sugar production for the month stood at 1,093 MTs, with a cumulative output of 10,146 MTs for the season. Sales reached 1,803 MTs in May, totaling 8,686 MTs sold so far this season.

The unit produced 1,277 MTs of molasses in May, with 393 MTs utilized for own consumption and sales. Cogeneration activities resulted in 7.10 Lakh Units of power generated, of which 0.96 Lakh Units were exported to the grid.

Unit II Performance

Unit II in Mundiyampakkam, Villupuram District, reported no cane crushing or sugar production during May 2026. However, the unit sold 4,689 MTs of sugar during the month. Cumulative figures for the season show 3,26,209 MTs of cane crushed and 30,133 MTs of sugar produced.

Molasses production for the season totaled 17,170 MTs, with 172 MTs sold or consumed in May. The unit generated 408.04 Lakh Units of power cumulatively, exporting 287.56 Lakh Units to the grid.

Unit III Performance

Unit III, situated in Semmedu Village, Villupuram District, also recorded no cane crushing or sugar production in May 2026. The unit sold 1,344 MTs of sugar for the month. Season-to-date data indicates 3,17,072 MTs of cane crushed and 29,270 MTs of sugar produced.

Molasses production reached 15,700 MTs for the season, with 3,316 MTs sold or consumed in May. Power generation for the month was 5.69 Lakh Units, contributing to a seasonal total of 453.78 Lakh Units.

Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals has announced its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026. This includes the statutory impact of new Labour Codes notified by the Government of India, comprising gratuity of ₹138.15 lakh and long-term compensated absences of ₹62.71 lakh.
