Jana Small Finance Bank inaugurated its 828th branch in Mangalore on August 29, 2026. The expansion strengthens the lender’s footprint in Karnataka, aiming to broaden access to formal financial services for individuals and businesses in the region.
The branch was opened at Somayaji Estate Pvt. Ltd., Sharada School Road, Mangalore. Shri U T Khader, Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Minority Affairs, Haj and Waqf, Government of Karnataka, officiated the ceremony. Mr. Shrinivas Murty, Head – Branch Banking & Chief Marketing Officer, along with other senior officials of the bank, were present.
Strategic Expansion
The new outlet will offer a comprehensive suite of banking products. These include liability products, gold loans, vehicle loans, housing loans, commercial banking services, insurance, and wealth management solutions.
Speaking at the event, the minister highlighted the role of formal banking in strengthening financial inclusion. He noted that the new branch supports inclusive economic growth by making financial solutions more accessible to families and businesses in Mangalore.
