Computer Age Management Services Limited and the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) have entered into a collaboration to integrate CAMS Lens into the Regulatory Intelligence module of the NISM Compliance & RegTech Lab. This partnership aims to provide students, faculty, and market professionals with practical exposure to technology-enabled regulatory research and compliance workflows relevant to India's capital markets.
The agreement was formally signed in Mumbai on October 14, 2026. The collaboration brings together NISM's focus on securities-market education with CAMS' technology and regulatory intelligence capabilities. It is designed to support participants in navigating regulatory requirements and developing a practical understanding of how technology facilitates regulatory interpretation.
Integration details
As part of the collaboration, the Regulatory Content and Intelligence module of CAMS Lens will be made available across devices in the NISM Compliance & RegTech Lab, with additional access for faculty members. Participants will use the platform to research and understand regulatory and compliance requirements across the capital-markets ecosystem, with a primary focus on SEBI-regulated intermediaries.
The NISM Compliance & RegTech Lab is a technology-driven platform for education, training, simulation, research, and innovation in financial-market compliance. It provides a multi-software environment spanning RegTech, risk management, analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and market-surveillance solutions. Its applied learning model enables participants to work through realistic regulatory scenarios using synthetic identities, transactions, and case files.
Platform capabilities
CAMS Lens is an AI-powered regulatory intelligence and compliance execution platform designed for participants across the Indian capital-markets ecosystem. The platform brings regulatory information and intelligence together in a structured environment, helping organisations strengthen regulatory management, compliance oversight, and audit readiness.
Its integration into the Lab supports participants as they navigate regulatory requirements. The deployment complements the Lab's broader pedagogy, which takes learners through workflows such as screening, risk assessment, transaction monitoring, investigation, evidence evaluation, and reporting.
Leadership commentary
Shri Sashi Krishnan, Director, NISM, stated that the growing complexity of financial markets requires compliance professionals to combine sound regulatory knowledge with the ability to work effectively with technology.
