Aartech Solonics Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Faradigm Ultracapacitors Pvt. Ltd., has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shenzhen Titan Smart Energy Technology Co. Ltd. The agreement aims to explore strategic cooperation in advanced energy storage solutions and the development of localized manufacturing capabilities in India.
The collaboration focuses on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP)-based Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) ranging from 100 kWh to 5 MWh. These systems are targeted at Commercial and Industrial (C&I) applications, including integrated hybrid solutions combining solar power, diesel generators, and battery storage. Plans to enter Utility Scale projects are currently under review, reflecting the company's intent to address India's growing demand for reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure.
Strategic Manufacturing Plans
A key component of this initiative is Faradigm’s upcoming manufacturing facility at the Renewable Energy Manufacturing Cluster in Mohasa-Babai, Madhya Pradesh. This facility is planned to commence operations in FY27-28. The partnership will explore manufacturing and technology licensing opportunities, leveraging Shenzhen Titan’s expertise in energy storage technology alongside Aartech’s market presence and local infrastructure.
Shenzhen Titan reports a portfolio of more than 300 projects, cumulative deployments exceeding 3 GWh, and over 200 proprietary patents in the energy storage domain. This technical depth is expected to complement Aartech’s four decades of experience in specialized electrical and power solutions.
Market Context
The move aligns with significant growth projections in the Indian energy storage sector. Driven by declining lithium-ion costs and stringent green mandates, India’s C&I BESS opportunity is transitioning from a sub-1 GWh base in 2025 to a projected capacity of 22-31 GWh by 2032. This represents a sub-market CAGR of 36.2%, contributing heavily to a broader national sector projected to grow at a 91% CAGR up to 302 GWh by FY32.
Aartech’s participation in the MP Solar + Storage Expo 2026 further underscores its interest in emerging technologies within this high-growth segment.
