IndusInd Bank Limited and EazyDiner launched the EazyDiner IndusInd Bank Platinum Rupay Credit Card on August 7, 2026. The lifetime-free credit card is issued on the RuPay network and provides cardholders with estimated annual savings of ₹21,495. This partnership aims to integrate dining rewards with everyday digital payments, allowing users to link the card to their preferred UPI app for transactions at QR codes.

The filing was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The press release was issued from Mumbai and uploaded to the bank’s website. Anand Kumar Das, Company Secretary, signed the intimation.

Key Benefits and Savings Breakdown

The card carries no joining or annual fees. The total estimated value of ₹21,495 per year is derived from specific dining, entertainment, and membership benefits.

Benefit Component Annual Value
Extra dining savings via EazyDiner app ₹18,000
BookMyShow ‘Buy One Get One’ tickets ₹2,400
Complimentary EazyDiner Prime membership ₹1,095
Total Estimated Savings ₹21,495

Cardholders receive an extra ₹500 off on dining three times a month. They also get a free monthly BookMyShow ticket and a complimentary three-month EazyDiner Prime membership. EazyDiner Prime members access discounts ranging from 25% to 50% across more than 40,000 restaurants in India and Dubai.

Strategic Integration of Payments and Rewards

The launch leverages RuPay’s UPI capability, enabling seamless payments at any QR code while accumulating points. Kapil Chopra, Founder of EazyDiner, stated that the card rewards dining moments while fitting into how India pays today. He noted that customers can unlock the ₹21,495 in savings every year through dining, entertainment, and exclusive membership benefits.

Jagdeep Mallareddy, Executive Director at IndusInd Bank, said the partnership delivers an elevated customer experience by combining RuPay Credit Card on UPI convenience with exclusive dining privileges. He emphasized the bank’s commitment to innovative, customer-centric solutions.

What the Numbers Show

The structure of the ₹21,495 savings package reveals a heavy reliance on transaction-based incentives rather than flat-rate cashback. Approximately 83% of the total value comes from extra dining savings via the EazyDiner app, suggesting the primary driver for customer acquisition is increased frequency of restaurant bookings and payments through the platform. The inclusion of UPI integration addresses a key friction point in Indian consumer behavior, where UPI dominates small-ticket payments, thereby expanding the utility of a credit card beyond traditional swipe transactions.
