NCLAT Allows Cosmic CRF's Insolvency Process to Continue with Conditions
The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has ordered the continuation of the Expression of Interest (EOI) process for Cosmic CRF Limited's insolvency proceedings. The Resolution Professional can finalize EOIs, but the Committee of Creditors is prohibited from opening any Resolution Plans until Cosmic CRF's eligibility under Section 29A of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code is determined. Cosmic CRF's Subsidiary to Establish New Forging Components Plant in West Bengal
Cosmic Springs & Engineers Limited (CSEL), a subsidiary of Cosmic CRF Limited, plans to set up a new manufacturing plant for forging components in Domjur, West Bengal. The facility will have an installed capacity of 11,000 TPA, producing iron and steel products for railway and defense sectors. The project, approved on May 23, 2025, is expected to commence operations within 6 months, subject to regulatory approvals.
