Rahul Poddar brings over 20 years of diversified experience in business operations and finance across customer-centric retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce sectors. As a Chartered Accountant, he possesses deep expertise in strategy and financial management, internal controls, ERP implementation, digital transformation, and treasury management.

Prior to joining VIP Industries, Poddar served as Group Controller at Reliance Retail Ventures Limited and as Chief Financial Officer at Reliance Jewels. In these positions, he led business and finance transformation initiatives, overseeing accounts, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, governance, and IT functions. His responsibilities included financial reporting under Ind AS, long-term strategic planning, digital finance transformation, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
