Smarten Power Systems has launched the Helix 1100-1250, its 8th series of MPPT Solar PCUs, starting at ₹5,350. The new range is designed to accelerate solar energy adoption for residential households and rural communities by offering efficient power backup solutions. The company expects strong traction from installers and end-users through its expanding nationwide distribution network.
The Helix series comprises two models, the Helix 1100 and Helix 1250, both operating on a 12V architecture. The Helix 1100 supports up to 600W of solar panel input, while the Helix 1250 extends support up to 1200W. Both models utilize MPPT technology to ensure higher solar conversion efficiency compared to conventional PWM-based systems.
A key feature of the series is its ability to support 24V solar panels while operating on a 12V system architecture, which helps reduce installation costs. The units provide pure sine wave output and feature a fast changeover time of less than 10 milliseconds in UPS mode to ensure uninterrupted power during grid fluctuations. The system integrates advanced solar-grid-battery power sharing logic to prioritize solar energy usage and manage grid support automatically.
