Indian Bank has promoted two senior executives to the position of Chief General Manager, effective August 1, 2026. The appointments strengthen leadership within the bank’s Corporate Credit and Recovery functions, with Himanshu Kansal elevated from General Manager and Deepak Gupta expanding his portfolio to include Mid Corporate Credit. Deepak Gupta has been promoted from Chief General Manager of CO: Corporate Credit to Chief General Manager of Corporate Credit & Mid Corporate Credit. Gupta holds an MBA and B.Com, is a CAIIB, and possesses over 31 years of banking experience. His new assignment expands his oversight to include mid-sized corporate credit portfolios, reflecting the bank’s focus on experienced internal leadership for critical credit verticals.
