HM Exploration Corp. has commenced trading on the OTCQB Venture Market under the symbol HMEXF, effective June 8, 2026. This move provides U.S. retail and institutional investors with improved access to the company's common shares and enhances liquidity in the U.S. market. The listing coincides with the company's active maiden drilling program at the Lewis Pilley's Project in Newfoundland, Canada, where three of the first five holes have intersected massive, semi-massive, and disseminated sulphide mineralization.
The OTCQB Venture Market is operated by OTC Markets Group Inc. in New York and serves as a recognized marketplace for entrepreneurial and development-stage companies. The commencement of trading is intended to expand HM Exploration's access to U.S. capital markets and provide an additional quotation venue for its common shares for U.S. broker-dealers and investors. There will be no change to the company's trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol HM or on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol X5H.
HM Exploration has applied for eligibility for electronic clearing and settlement through the Depository Trust Company (DTC) in the United States. This application aims to further facilitate electronic clearing and settlement of the company's common shares for U.S. investors. A further news release will be issued upon the granting of DTC eligibility.
Lewis Pilley's Project Update
The Lewis Pilley's Project is road accessible and situated approximately 25 km east of the town of Springdale. It hosts a cluster of volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) systems and prospects with demonstrated high-grade zinc-lead-copper-silver plus or minus gold intersections. The geological setting is directly analogous to the Buchans camp, and the presence of sulphide-clast breccias is a strong vector toward proximal massive sulphide lenses.
Historic drilling at the 3B-Zone returned significant intersections, including 16.77m of 1.84% copper and 3.05m of 5.03% zinc with 1.02 g/t gold. Most historic showings within the project extents have not seen systematic exploration, and many historic drill holes were shallow and drilled in a vertical orientation, limiting geological knowledge. Work is being planned to validate historic assay results and collect new data from various showings.
