• First phase: 142.20 MW capacity declared operational on June 28, 2025
• Second phase: 32.80 MW capacity added on June 30, 2025

With this latest addition, NTPC Renewable Energy has successfully brought online a total of 224.13 MW of solar capacity at the Khavda site.

Wind Energy Addition

In a separate development, 52.8 MW of wind capacity has been brought online from a hybrid project in Gujarat. This wind component is part of a larger 129.9 MW hybrid project that combines both wind and solar technologies. The project is operated by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary within NTPC Green Energy's joint venture structure with ONGC.

According to the LODR filing, this wind capacity is part of a total installed capacity of 92.4 MW (Wind) and 37.5 MW (Solar) in the 100 MW Hybrid project. The 52.8 MW wind capacity was declared commercially operational on August 21.
