Tata Consultancy Services has entered into a strategic partnership with SKF to accelerate intelligent transformation across its global operations. The long-term collaboration will modernise SKF's existing IT landscape and create an AI foundation for greater agility, resilience, and operational efficiency across the enterprise. This partnership positions TCS as a key technology partner enabling SKF to become an AI-native, industry-leading industrial manufacturer.

Scope of Engagement

As part of the engagement, TCS will provide end-to-end managed services across applications, infrastructure, data, end-user services, security, and connectivity for SKF globally. The program will standardise operations, strengthen domain-led technology architecture, modernise core infrastructure, and accelerate the design and adoption of a next-generation Enterprise Resource Planning platform. TCS will leverage its deep manufacturing and IT expertise combined with AI-led agentic workflows to simplify the global technology landscape.

This partnership builds on TCS' strong foothold in the Nordic region, where it has been operating since 1991. This bespoke offering, designed specifically for governments, public sector enterprises, and regulated industries, combines sovereign cloud architecture with AI capabilities to enable sovereignty across data, operations, and digital infrastructure. The launch builds on the successful rollout of the solution in India in 2025, followed by expansions into Kenya, East Africa, and the Philippines.

Strategic Architecture and Compliance

The SovereignSecure Cloud™ for the EU is designed to provide strategic autonomy through a multi-layered approach. It comprises a sovereign cloud layer delivered through hyperscalers, providing scale and flexibility to operate securely within the EU regulatory framework. The national sovereign cloud layer enables country-specific localization while bringing operations under a unified control plane.
