NTPC Limited announced that its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) declared the commercial operation of 56.7 MW wind capacity on September 22, 2026. The projects are located in Gujarat and part of the 500 MW REMCL RTC Project.

Operational Details

The newly commissioned capacity includes two parts. The first is a 6.3 MW fourth part capacity of the Vanki Wind Energy Project at Nakhatrana, Kutch. The second is a 50.4 MW first part capacity of the Jamjodhpur Wind Energy Project at Jamnagar. Both projects are step-down subsidiaries of NTPC through NGEL.

With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group stands at 91,221 MW. The commercial capacity has reached 90,141 MW. For NTPC Green Energy Limited, the current commercial capacity stands at 10,920.53 MW, while the total installed capacity increased to 10,977.23 MW.
