Laxmi Organic Industries has announced a planned leadership transition, with Dr Rajan Venkatesh stepping down as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer and Harshvardhan Goenka succeeding him effective November 14, 2026.
Leadership transition details
The Board of Directors approved the succession plan at its meeting held on September 8, 2026, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The transition is designed to ensure continuity in management.
Dr Rajan Venkatesh has tendered his resignation from the position of MD & CEO and as a Director to pursue professional opportunities outside the company. His resignation takes effect at the close of business hours on November 13, 2026. Consequently, he will cease to be a Key Managerial Personnel and a member of the Finance Committee and Risk Management Committee from the same date.
Harshvardhan Goenka, currently Executive Director, has been appointed and re-designated as the new MD & CEO.
