The platform combines Lantronix's NTC-552 ruggedized industrial 5G gateway with Cherry & White's Rapid Wi-Fi technology, delivering speeds up to 70 times faster than legacy solutions in low- or no-connectivity environments. This collaboration targets utilities, industrial facilities, defense installations and emergency services, where connectivity gaps pose operational liabilities.

Platform Features and Deployment

The Rapid Wi-Fi Platform is built on the Lantronix NTC-552, a ruggedized industrial 5G gateway engineered for demanding field environments. It features 5G NR Release 16 SA/NSA with automatic LTE/4G failover, Wi-Fi 6 and 2.5Gbps WAN throughput. The platform is managed centrally via Lantronix's Percepxion platform, enabling remote visibility and reducing costly truck rolls.
