Indian Hume Pipe has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Rajasthan, for a water supply project valued at ₹738.61 crores. The order, awarded by the Office of the Chief Engineer for JICA Funded Projects in Jaipur, involves the design and build of a Narmada-based water supply system for 275 villages in the Dhorimanna and Chouhtan blocks of District Barmer. This project falls under the JICA-funded Rajasthan Rural Water Supply & Fluorosis Mitigation Project Phase II.

Order Details

The contract is an item rate agreement covering design, build, operation, and maintenance on a Single Point Responsibility (SPR) basis. The execution timeline is set at 24 months, followed by a one-year defect notification period and a 10-year operation and maintenance (O&M) phase.

The company confirmed that the order is from a domestic entity and does not involve any related party transactions or interests from the promoter group.

Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited has scheduled its 100th Annual General Meeting for August 3, 2026, at 2.30 p.m. IST. The meeting will be conducted through Video Conferencing or other Audio-Visual Means in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and relevant circulars issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and SEBI. Shareholders have been advised regarding tax deduction at source on dividends. A resident individual shareholder holding a valid PAN and not liable to pay income tax may submit a declaration in Form No. 121 under Section 393(6) of the Income-tax Act, 2025, and a declaration under Rule 203 of the Income-tax Rules, 2026, by July 18, 2026. Failure to register or update PAN may result in tax deduction at a higher rate of 20%.
