Hexaware Technologies has appointed Srinivasan Panchapakesan as President and Chief Platform Officer, effective immediately, to unify its platform portfolio for the agentic AI era. The newly created role aims to consolidate the company's platform offerings under a single shared foundation of AI-native services. This strategic move is designed to help enterprises transition AI from isolated pilots to everyday production use by removing modernization friction.
Srinivasan will oversee the development, integration, and scaling of Hexaware's platform portfolio, which includes Amaze® for cloud modernization, RapidX® for AI-accelerated software engineering, Tensai® for agentic IT operations, and Agentverse™ for enterprise AI agents. He will also deepen the company's collaboration with AI ecosystem partners and manage the roadmap, governance, and enterprise-scale adoption of the unified platform portfolio. The platforms will operate as a connected system on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, rather than in silos.
"Platforms are central to how we will serve enterprise clients over the next decade, and this role reflects that priority," said R. Srikrishna, CEO and Executive Director, Hexaware. He emphasized that Srinivasan possesses the technical depth and client understanding necessary to lead this initiative.
Srinivasan brings over 35 years of industry experience, including more than 27 years at Hexaware. He most recently served as Senior Corporate Vice President & Global Delivery Head for Digital & Software. He is recognized as a principal architect behind Amaze® and RapidX®, which are key to Hexaware's platform-led services strategy. His experience spans complex engagements across banking, insurance, life sciences, and manufacturing.
"Every enterprise is asking the same question right now. How do we move from AI pilots to AI that is grounded in our own code, our own data, and our own decisions?" said Srinivasan Panchapakesan. He stated that bringing platforms onto one foundation closes the value gap, ensuring that every engagement draws on the same knowledge and AI-native services for auditable, agentic AI in production.
