Bajaj Auto reported a 20% increase in total sales for May 2026, driven by robust performance in both domestic and export markets. The company sold 4,61,257 units during the month, up from 3,84,621 units in the corresponding period last year. This growth was underpinned by a significant 34% surge in exports, which reached 2,13,226 units, alongside a 10% rise in domestic sales to 2,48,031 units.
The two-wheeler segment recorded sales of 3,93,204 units, marking an 18% year-on-year growth. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased 9% to 2,09,528 units, while exports jumped 30% to 1,83,676 units. The commercial vehicles segment also witnessed strong momentum, with total sales climbing 30% to 68,053 units.
