ASM International N.V. intends to nominate Chris Figee for appointment as member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer, subject to shareholder approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting expected in March 2027. Until the intended appointment becomes effective, Paul Verhagen will continue in his role as member of the Management Board and CFO. Following the Extraordinary General Meeting and subject to shareholder approval, Verhagen will step down as CFO but has agreed to remain with ASM in an advisory role until the end of his contract to ensure a smooth transition.

Chris Figee is currently Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Management of KPN, a position he has held since 2020. Prior to KPN, he served as CFO and member of the Executive Board of a.s.r. Nederland N.V. His earlier career includes senior roles at Achmea and a partnership at McKinsey & Company, focusing on corporate finance and the European insurance and asset-management sector. Figee started his career at Aegon and holds a degree in financial economics from the University of Groningen. He is a Dutch citizen and serves on the Supervisory Board of Royal Schiphol Group and De Nederlandsche Bank, as well as the Monitoring Committee Corporate Governance Code and the Economic Board Zuid-Holland.
