Bharat Gears Reports Q1 Loss Despite Revenue Growth
Bharat Gears Limited, an automotive gears manufacturer, released Q1 financial results showing mixed performance. Revenue increased by 8.31% to ₹179.80 crore, up from ₹166.01 crore in the previous year. However, the company reported a net loss of ₹1.81 crore, compared to a profit of ₹1.71 crore in Q1 last year. Total expenses rose to ₹168.72 crore, primarily due to increased material costs. The company's EBITDA for the quarter was ₹13.30 crore. The Board of Directors approved these unaudited financial results on July 29.
