The first component involved the direct acquisition of 37,05,000 equity shares of ₹10 each, equivalent to 31% of the target company, purchased from existing shareholders. The second component comprised 22,70,000 equity shares of ₹10 each, representing 19% of the company, held by RRIL's wholly owned subsidiary, Raj Rajendra Industries Limited.
