Varroc Engineering has appointed Eric Hamon as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), effective August 3, 2026. The appointment strengthens the company’s leadership team as it accelerates its innovation agenda in electrification, connectivity, and safe, smart, and sustainable mobility. Hamon will report to Arjun Jain, Whole Time Director & CEO - Business I, and will be responsible for defining the company’s technology strategy and innovation roadmap.

Eric Hamon joins Varroc with more than 25 years of global automotive technology and engineering leadership experience. He possesses deep expertise in electrification, electrical-electronics, software-defined vehicles (SDVs), connected systems, embedded software, functional safety, and cybersecurity. Prior to joining Varroc, Hamon served as Director – E Axle & System Platforms at Valeo E, where he led the global product strategy for eAxle platforms.
In his new role, Hamon will lead Varroc’s technology and engineering organization. His responsibilities include accelerating product portfolio optimization across electrification, electrical-electronics, and connected systems, advancing engineering excellence through process optimization, and strengthening technical engagement with customers and strategic technology partners.
