Shri Jay Singh brings over 27 years of experience in Signalling & Telecommunication systems, including operations, maintenance, planning, tendering, design, and execution of signalling projects. His expertise includes CBTC-based systems, Electronic Interlocking works, and automatic signalling. Prior to joining RVNL, he served in Indian Railways and held key positions in Kochi Metro Rail Limited and Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Limited as GM/S&T and CPM.
The appointment follows his selection for the post against Vacancy Notice No. 2025/RVNL/44-S&T dated November 13, 2025. He has been appointed in the E-9 grade in the IDA pay scale of ₹1,50,000–3,00,000 (CPSE pattern). The term of the appointment is till superannuation.
