RLI Corp. has promoted Kevin Brownell to Vice President, Claim, appointing him to lead its Casualty claim operations. Brownell, previously Assistant Vice President, will now provide executive leadership and oversight for the unit. The appointment underscores the company's focus on strengthening technical excellence and customer service within its claims division.

Brownell joined RLI in 2018 as Claim Director and was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Claim in 2023. He brings more than 25 years of insurance claims and legal experience to his new position. Brownell earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.
