Redwire Corporation has secured $21.5 million in follow-on purchase orders during the second quarter to support the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Robotic Autonomous Systems Aircraft Program Management Office’s Family of Small UAS team. The awards include a second Advanced Navigation Stalker Block 30 uncrewed aircraft system alongside standard systems, bringing the total disclosed orders for the first half of 2026 to $41.5 million. This expansion underscores the sustained demand for the company's technology within the defense sector.

Contract Details

The latest purchase orders build upon previous business with the Aircraft Program Management Office. In the first quarter of 2026, Redwire received $20 million in awards, which included the U.S. Marine Corps’ initial acquisition of the Advanced Navigation Stalker Block 30. The Defense Logistics Agency completed the procurement through its Tailored Logistics Support indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, with Atlantic Diving Supply serving as the prime contractor.

Strategic Context

The Marine Corps is upgrading a fleet that includes hundreds of Stalker platforms already in service. Each Advanced Navigation system comprises air vehicles, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance camera payloads, short-, medium-, and long-range ground control stations, and associated support kits. Redwire stated that the upgraded configuration improves situational awareness, target tracking, and operational flexibility in challenging intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions.

Financial Outlook

Analysts project Redwire will report its next financial update on Aug. 5, 2026. Estimates suggest a loss of 16 cents per share, narrowing from a loss of 41 cents a year earlier, with revenue expected to rise to $106.96 million from $61.76 million. The stock maintains a consensus Buy rating with an average price target of $17.67.

Redwire Corporation shares are up approximately 10% this week, adding about 1% to those gains on Thursday, as a defense contract win and broader space sector momentum have kept the aerospace and defense company in focus. The stock rose 4.53% to $12.22 following the initial contract announcement, and was trading 1.17% higher at $12.11 at the time of publication. Taiwan Coast Guard Contract

On June 30, Redwire announced it was awarded a contract by Taiwan Color Optics Inc. to deliver its Penguin Mk2.5 VTOL Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS) to the Taiwan Coast Guard. The agreement supports Taiwan’s maritime security and defense resilience planning. The Penguin Mk2.5 was selected for its long-endurance performance, vertical takeoff and landing capability, and integrated EO/IR payloads for persistent maritime Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The platform can be rapidly deployed in harsh or contested environments and is capable of day and night surveillance, with the ability to track and target small moving objects.
