PVR INOX has opened its 28th cinema in Bengaluru, a six-screen property with 949 seats at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia. The launch brings the company's total network to 1,786 screens across 356 properties in 113 cities in India and Sri Lanka.

New cinema addition at a glance

The new multiplex is located at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia on Varthur Road, near Whitefield. It serves as an entertainment anchor for the surrounding residential and lifestyle community within Arcadia at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia.

The cinema features all-laser projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound and Next-Gen 3D. Two auditoriums are equipped with DTSX immersive sound. Premium seating options include Celebrity Recliners and Lounger Seats.

Experience and amenities

The property introduces PVR INOX's new Cinema Food Court concept, designed to integrate food, beverage and hospitality into the moviegoing experience. Contemporary interiors and a hospitality-led design approach aim to create a polished environment for audiences.

Ajay Bijli, Managing Director, said Bengaluru remains an important market for the company. He noted that the Whitefield region reflects the new energy of the city, with residential communities, workplaces and retail coming together. The 28th cinema strengthens the company's presence in this growth corridor.

Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director, added that the property is designed to be a destination where people create shared memories. He highlighted the mix of advanced technology, premium seating and the new food court concept as key elements of the experience.
