Power Solutions International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSIX) announced on July 27, 2026, that Richard Hu has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 17, 2026. The selection followed a comprehensive executive search conducted by Spencer Stuart, a global executive search and leadership advisory firm. Working closely with the Board over several months, Spencer Stuart evaluated candidates across power generation, industrial equipment, automotive, and adjacent technology sectors before recommending Hu. Xun (Kenneth) Li, who served as Interim Chief Executive Officer since May 2026, will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer.

In this role, he held full P&L accountability for a multi-billion-dollar operation encompassing manufacturing plants and technical centers across the United States, Mexico, and Brazil, leading a global team of approximately 3,900 employees.
Executive Background
