The latest developments mark significant steps in the phased development of two key projects executed through NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a stepdown subsidiary.

The third phase of the 200 MW Dahod Solar Project in Gujarat, with a capacity of 68.22 MW, was declared on commercial operation effective July 23, 2026. This follows the certificate issued by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency dated September 17, 2026.

Simultaneously, the third part capacity of 9.45 MW of the Vanki Wind Energy Project located in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat, was declared on commercial operation effective September 19, 2026.

Capacity expansion in context

With the addition of 68.22 MW from the Dahod phase, NTPC Green Energy's total capacity initially stood at 10,911.08 MW. The subsequent addition of 9.45 MW from the Vanki wind project brings the final total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group to 10,920.53 MW.

At the parent level, NTPC Limited disclosed that the total installed capacity of the NTPC group stands at 91,164 MW, with commercial capacity at 90,084 MW following these declarations.

NTPC Green Energy Limited disclosed that Shri Prabir Kumar Biswas ceased to be a member of its Senior Management Personnel effective September 16, 2026. The departure follows an administrative transfer within the organization.
