NMDC Steel has announced the cessation of Shri Ashish Chatterjee’s tenure as Government Director on its Board. The change takes effect from the forenoon of August 24, 2026.

The Ministry of Steel, Government of India, communicated the decision vide Order No - S-14011/1/2022-BLA dated August 27, 2026. The order states that Chatterjee ceased to be a director consequent upon his relieving as Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser.
