L&T Technology Services announced a strategic partnership with Cognite on September 24, 2026. The collaboration aims to combine LTTS' engineering expertise with Cognite's Industrial AI and data capabilities to deliver scalable solutions for asset-intensive industries.
Through its Sustainability segment, LTTS will co-develop joint industrial AI and data solutions. The partnership targets sectors including Oil & Gas, Chemicals, LNG, CPG/FMCG, Mining, and Industrial Manufacturing. This move extends LTTS' Engineering Intelligence portfolio by integrating Cognite's capabilities into its existing service offerings.
Operational setup and initial projects
As part of the engagement, LTTS has established a dedicated Cognite Center of Excellence. The company has certified an initial group of 50+ engineers to accelerate the adoption of Industrial AI technologies. This infrastructure supports the deployment of AI-powered industrial applications, digital twins, predictive maintenance solutions, and operational intelligence platforms.
The first joint project involves a global top ten oil and gas company. The initiative focuses on transforming manual mechanical-integrity processes into contextualized, scalable digital workflows. These workflows aim to enhance engineer efficiency, accelerate risk identification, and prevent downtime and safety events.
