Lemon Tree Hotels has expanded its presence in Northeast India with the signing of a license agreement for Lemon Tree Hotel, Jorhat, in Assam. The new property, featuring 70 rooms, marks the company's entry into Jorhat, a city recognized as the cultural and tea capital of the region. This strategic move increases the company's footprint in Assam to seven properties, comprising one operational hotel and six under development.

The upcoming hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. Designed as a full-service offering, the property will include amenities such as a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre. The hotel aims to cater to business travellers, tea industry professionals, and leisure guests visiting the region's cultural and natural attractions.

Jorhat serves as a gateway to Majuli, the world's largest river island, and is home to the Tocklai Tea Research Institute. The hotel's location offers connectivity to major transport hubs, with Jorhat Airport approximately 6 km away and Jorhat Railway Station around 2.5 km from the site.

In a separate disclosure, the company announced the de-flagging of Lemon Tree Hotel, Dubai. The 112-room managed hotel ceased to be part of the Lemon Tree umbrella effective from the close of business hours on July 14, 2026.

The filing was submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Pawan Kumar Kumawat, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, authorized the disclosure.

Lemon Tree Hotels opened Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels, Ajmer, on June 30, 2026, marking the brand's debut in the historic city. The new property features a total of 31 well-appointed rooms and strengthens the group's operational portfolio in Rajasthan to 14 hotels, with nine more properties in the pipeline across the state. The hotel is managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.

The hotel commenced operations in the first phase with 24 rooms, including a multi-cuisine restaurant, bar, and conference room. The remaining seven rooms are scheduled to become operational in the second phase. The property offers room categories such as Deluxe Room, Executive Room, and Executive Suite. Dining facilities include Keys Café, a multi-cuisine all-day dining restaurant with seating for 35 guests, and Terrace Café, a rooftop venue accommodating up to 45 guests. Additionally, Unlock Bar provides a space for evening refreshments.

Located opposite the city's main bus terminal, the hotel provides access to key spiritual and cultural attractions. The Dargah Ajmer Sharif is situated 2.5 km away, while Ana Sagar Lake and the Ajmer Museum are located 1.5 km and 2.3 km from the property, respectively. The hotel is approximately 2 km from Ajmer Railway Station and around 24 km from Kishangarh Airport. It also serves as a base for travellers visiting the Brahma Temple in nearby Pushkar, located 15.5 km away.
