Kymera Therapeutics, Inc. has appointed Penny Carlson as Senior Vice President, Development Operations, to oversee global clinical development operations as the company advances multiple programs through mid- and late-stage development. The appointment comes as Jeremy Chadwick retires from his role as Chief Operating Officer and remains as an advisor to the company through the end of the year. The leadership changes aim to strengthen Kymera's capabilities in advancing its oral immunology portfolio.

Ms. Carlson brings over two decades of biopharmaceutical leadership experience, having previously served as Vice President and Head of Global Clinical Development Operations at Takeda. Her background includes clinical program management, study execution, and data management across multiple therapeutic areas. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Aileron Therapeutics, and other organizations in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Nello Mainolfi, PhD, Founder, President and CEO of Kymera Therapeutics, highlighted the strategic importance of the appointment.
