Ingersoll Rand (India) Limited reported a 4.2% increase in revenue from operations to ₹13,923.7 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, compared to ₹13,362.9 crore in the previous year. The company’s profit after tax for the period stood at ₹256.2 crore, a decrease from the prior year’s ₹267.5 crore, primarily attributed to an exceptional expense of ₹11.8 crore.
The exceptional item arose from the recognition of past service costs following the government’s notification of new labour codes, including the Code on Wages, 2019, and the Industrial Relations Code, 2020. Despite this one-time impact, the company’s profit before tax was recorded at ₹343.4 crore.
The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹20 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. This follows an interim dividend of ₹55 per equity share paid during the year. The company continues to maintain a debt-free position with adequate cash reserves to meet its capital expenditure and operational requirements.
Financial Performance
The company’s Air Solutions segment, which constitutes its sole operational segment, drove the revenue growth. Management noted that demand was supported by industrial activity, infrastructure investments, and growth in sectors such as pharmaceuticals and food processing. The company also highlighted the completion of its new manufacturing facility at Sanand, Gujarat, which was inaugurated in October 2025 and is expected to contribute to volumes in the coming financial year.
