Infosys and Roland-Garros have extended their digital innovation partnership through 2031, reaffirming a shared commitment to transforming the sport through AI-powered experiences for fans, coaches, players, and media. The announcement, made on May 28, 2026, coincides with the debut of new AI-powered digital experiences set for Roland-Garros 2026. These innovations leverage Infosys Topaz, an AI-first offering powered by generative and agentic AI technologies, to deepen engagement with the sport.
The new AI-powered innovations for 2026 include Rolly, an AI StatsBot available on the Roland-Garros website and mobile app. Rolly provides deeper insight into match narratives and context using live and historical match data dating back to 2013. Fans can explore scores, stats, and match dynamics through natural, near real-time interactions. Another feature is Rally, an advanced AI-powered humanoid robot designed to elevate on-site engagement. Rally delivers personalized interactions, including capturing memories in Selfie Mode and offering tennis-themed predictions through Serve Me a Fortune mode or Ask Rally, an interactive chat experience tailored to players' styles using real-time match data.
Momentum provides a clear visual representation of how a match unfolds in real time. It highlights shifts in momentum, set changes, and key scoring moments, enabling fans to intuitively follow the rhythm and pivotal turning points of play. Several existing platforms also return with meaningful enhancements. AI Commentary is now available in French, improving accessibility for local audiences while reducing latency. The Excitement Rating has been refined with a simplified “Exciting” indicator to help fans quickly identify the most intense matches live. The AI-Assisted Journalism Portal has been upgraded with greater customisation options, improved image-editing tools, and new plug-and-play infographic templates.
