Her professional background includes serving as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Principal at Haflong Government College, Assam. Additionally, she served as the President of the Governing Body at Government Model College, Assam.
During her tenure in these roles, she managed financial affairs, arranged maintenance and upkeep of college buildings, and conducted selections for teaching and non-teaching posts.
