Bharat Dynamics has appointed Prakash Rajpurohit as Part-Time Official Director on its Board, effective September 17, 2026. The appointment replaces Meera Mohanty and follows approval from the Ministry of Defence.

The Department of Defence Production conveyed the Competent Authority’s approval via Office Memorandum No. 8(29)/2026-D(Coord/DDP) dated September 17, 2026. Rajpurohit, a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, will serve until further orders.

Director Profile

Rajpurohit is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 batch from the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi.

Prior to his current posting, he served in the Department of Economic Affairs, handling international investment treaties. His earlier assignments in Rajasthan included district administration and commercial taxes.

Compliance Details

The company confirmed compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. Rajpurohit is not debarred from holding office by any SEBI order or other authority. No relationships between directors were disclosed.
