Moneyboxx Finance Limited has raised ₹500 million through the private placement of secured, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) subscribed by Capri Global Capital. This issuance brings the total debt raised via NCDs in the first four months of FY27 to ₹700 million, reinforcing lender confidence in the company's business model. The capital will support the expansion of outreach to small and micro-entrepreneurs in rural and semi-urban India.
The Working Committee of the Board of Directors approved the allotment of 50,000 NCDs on July 21, 2026. The instruments carry a coupon rate of 10.75% per annum with a tenor of 24 months, maturing on July 21, 2028. The NCDs are listed on BSE Limited and are secured by a first-ranking exclusive charge over identified receivables or a pledge on NCDs favoring the Debenture Trustee.
Interest payments are scheduled monthly, starting August 21, 2026. The principal amount will be redeemed in four equal installments of ₹12,50,00,000 each on October 21, 2027, January 21, 2028, April 21, 2028, and July 21, 2028. In case of default, the issuer will pay additional interest at 2% per annum over the coupon rate for the defaulting period.
Moneyboxx Finance is supported by 34 lenders, including prominent banks like State Bank of India, HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank, and has raised over ₹15 billion debt to date. The company operates a network of over 150 branches spread across 12 states, catering to underserved segments such as livestock, kirana, retail traders, and micro and small manufacturers.
