SJVN 's 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station achieved a historic milestone on March 26, 2026, by surpassing its highest-ever power generation record of 2,098.03 million units. This achievement exceeded the previous benchmark established during FY 2019-20, marking a significant operational accomplishment for the Himachal Pradesh-based facility.

The Rampur Hydro Power Station's latest performance represents a substantial milestone in the facility's operational history. Chairman & Managing Director Bhupender Gupta announced this achievement, highlighting the plant's enhanced operational capabilities and efficient resource utilization.

Leadership Recognition

Director (Personnel) Ajay Kumar Sharma witnessed the surpassing of the previous generation record during his visit to the Rampur HPS Power House. During his visit, Sharma interacted with the OEM team and other team members, appreciating their dedication and commitment. He congratulated everyone and stated that such milestones result from consistent hard work and dedication for excellence, encouraging project employees to continue striving for even greater achievements.

Operational Excellence

Vikas Marwah, Head of Project at Rampur HPS, dedicated this achievement to the visionary leadership and unwavering support of SJVN Management, along with the teamwork and relentless efforts of all employees. The achievement was witnessed by senior officials including Rajeev Kapoor, HOP of NJHPS, and Vivek Sharma, HOP of LHEP-1.

Since its commissioning, Rampur HPS has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance, setting multiple benchmarks in power generation. The Power Station had already achieved its Design Energy target of 1,878 million units for FY 2025-26 on December 8, 2025, marking the fastest achievement since commissioning.

SJVN has entered into a tripartite agreement with Alankit Assignments Limited and MAS Services Limited on March 20, 2026. The agreement facilitates the transition of Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA) services from Alankit Assignments Limited to MAS Services Limited.

Regulatory Compliance

The tripartite agreement has been executed in compliance with Regulation 7 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. SJVN informed the stock exchanges about this development on March 25, 2026, in continuation to their earlier disclosure dated January 23, 2026.

RTA Transition Structure

The tripartite arrangement involves SJVN as the company, Alankit Assignments Limited as the erstwhile RTA, and MAS Services Limited as the new RTA.
