PDC Brands announced it will operate under the new corporate identity, Arthēa. The global wellness and personal care company serves more than 95 million consumers across more than 80 countries.
The name change reflects a sharpened mission to make superior wellness offerings accessible on a greater scale. Arthēa draws from the words "art" and "healing," combining beauty with science across mind, body, and spirit.
Strategic Transformation
Tarun Malkani, CEO of Arthēa, stated the new identity represents the company’s current state and future build. He emphasized translating trusted science into brands that improve everyday routines at scale.
The rebrand follows two years of transformation under Malkani’s leadership. The company invested in brand renovation, new product development, and adjacent wellness opportunities. It credits this progress to a development model combining human expertise, consumer empathy, and an advanced AI platform.
Portfolio Innovations
Arthēa highlighted several 2026 initiatives designed to expand its presence in consumer wellness:
- Launching Sunryz, an age-appropriate body care brand for tweens.
- Restaging Dr Teal’s, the No. 1 Epsom salt brand in the U.S., to address magnesium-based wellness interest.
- Expanding Cantu with Weightless and Ultra Moisture collections for textured hair.
- Partnering Eylure with Bratz™ in the U.K. to connect with new beauty consumers.
- Adapting Bodycology for the U.K. market in partnership with Boots.
Gina Dobles, Chief Growth Officer of Arthēa, noted the identity better reflects the company’s evolution in building a portfolio spanning wellness, beauty, and personal care.
Operational Updates
The launch coincides with the company’s move to new offices in White Plains, New York. The space includes expanded collaboration areas to support new ventures and partnerships.
The Arthēa corporate identity will appear across communications starting today. Consumers will continue to find brands like Dr Teal’s, Cantu, and Bodycology through existing retail and e-commerce channels.
Arthēa is a registered d/b/a of Parfums de Coeur, Ltd., which remains the legal entity. The adoption does not change ownership, legal structure, or contractual obligations.
