Panorama Studios International has entered into a collaboration with Unni Mukundan Films for a new Malayalam project. Actor Unni Mukundan will headline the film as its writer and director, marking his 50th feature film.

The partnership brings together two National Award-winning production houses. Panorama Studios, known for hits like Drishyam and Special 26, joins forces with Unni Mukundan’s banner, which produced the National Award-winning Meppadiyan.

Strategic Collaboration

Kumar Mangat Pathak, Chairman of Panorama Studios, highlighted the creative potential of the project. He noted that Unni Mukundan has established himself as a strong pan-Indian talent following the success of Marco.

Abhishek Pathak, Managing Director, emphasized the natural creative connection between the teams. He pointed to Unni’s track record of taking risks in films like Meppadiyan and Marco as a key factor in the decision to collaborate.

Creative Milestone

For Unni Mukundan, this project represents a shift in role. He stated that stepping into the writer-director chair for his 50th film allows him to tell stories in his own voice. The film aims for pan-Indian appeal with a high-octane narrative.

Panorama Studios International has secured exclusive airborne rights for its upcoming Hindi film Drop Out through a new distribution agreement. The deal covers the entire world, including India.

The agreement was executed by Panorama Studios Inflight LLP, a subsidiary of the listed entity. It was signed with Serene Films on September 18, 2026.

Deal Details

The contract grants Serene Films the right to exploit airborne rights exclusively. This arrangement applies to all regions globally.

The film features a cast that includes Ardent Arya, Preeti Chauhan, Rajendra Gupta, Amlesh Jaiswal and Mushtaq Khan. Omkar Pethkar directs the project.
