Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated has been recognized as Reinsurer of the Year by the InsuranceERM Americas Awards 2026. The award honors a reinsurer that has delivered measurable reinsurance and risk transfer benefits over the past 18 months, while demonstrating a strong culture of risk management, collaboration, and employee initiatives. This recognition reflects RGA's commitment to serving clients with discipline and a long-term focus on responsible risk management.

Senan O'Loughlin, Executive Vice President, Head of U.S. Individual Markets at RGA, attributed the award to the strong partnerships defining the company's work across the Americas. O'Loughlin stated that RGA's priorities remain consistent: managing biometric and investment risk responsibly, delivering on client commitments, and expanding access to financial protection for families.

2025 Performance Milestones

RGA reported strong performance across the Americas in 2025, driven by significant transaction activity and strengthened client relationships. The company provides a broad portfolio of reinsurance solutions supported by deep market expertise and disciplined execution in the U.S., Latin America, and Canada.

Global Recognition

This latest award follows RGA's selection as Funded Reinsurance Provider of the Year in the InsuranceERM UK & EMEA Awards announced in May. That recognition highlighted the company's pioneering work with clients on tailored funded reinsurance solutions supporting capital efficiency in Continental Europe.

Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated is a global leader specializing in life and health reinsurance and financial solutions. As of March 31, 2026, the company held approximately $4.3 trillion of life reinsurance in force and total assets of $164.1 billion.
