GRAIL, Inc. has entered a collaboration with Priority Health to make GRAIL's Galleri multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test available to Priority Health's self-insured employer groups. This partnership aims to enhance cancer screening coverage by integrating the Galleri test into existing plans. Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving more than 1.4 million members, is the third largest provider-sponsored health plan in the nation.

Priority Health launched coverage for Galleri in its Thrive and Thrive Plus Medicare Advantage plans in 2025. The latest expansion makes Priority Health the first Michigan health plan to enable its employer groups to easily add the Galleri test to their cancer screening coverage. The collaboration allows employers to integrate the test into customized benefit programs that include Priority Health's extensive provider network and care management services.

The Galleri test is designed to detect multiple types of cancer early, potentially improving treatment outcomes. With a simple blood draw, Galleri screens for many of the deadliest cancers before symptoms appear. When a cancer signal is found, Galleri provides a cancer signal of origin with high accuracy to help guide an efficient diagnostic work-up. The test is supported by rigorous studies in intended use populations and is the only available MCED test with demonstrated performance in patients being screened for cancer.

"Early cancer detection can lower health care costs by enabling less intensive, more effective treatments," said Megan Hall, PhD, vice president of Medical Affairs at GRAIL. "Priority Health is leading the way in innovative employee benefit offerings, and we are excited to collaborate to bring Galleri to their customers while expanding broader market access."

"At Priority Health, we care about helping employers create benefits that truly work for their teams," said Chase Osbourne, senior vice president of employer solutions & innovation at Priority Health. "By partnering with GRAIL, we're making it easier for employers to support early cancer detection and proactive health."
