Hoffman joins Ciena with over 25 years of global leadership experience in supply chain, operations, and portfolio management. His background includes large-scale transformations and the development of digital supply chain capabilities. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Poly, where he led end-to-end supply chain operations and a global digital transformation. Following HP's acquisition of Poly, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Solutions Delivery, overseeing a global organization responsible for customer delivery, support, and channel operations. Earlier in his career, Hoffman held leadership roles at Google, Motorola, and Continental AG.

Brodie Gage, Chief Product and Technology Officer

Gage expands his leadership scope to include technology strategy under a single mandate. He continues to lead Product Line Management, Solutions Engineering and Introduction (SE&I), and Quality. Additionally, he will partner with the Global Research & Development team to accelerate Ciena's innovation agenda. Gage most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Products and Supply Chain on Ciena's Executive Leadership Team. He joined the company in 2010 through its acquisition of Nortel’s optical business and has held various global leadership roles in engineering, marketing, and business development. Prior to joining Ciena, he worked at Nortel.
