Amtech Esters Limited appointed Chandresh V. Dobariya as an additional non-executive independent director and accepted the resignation of Paras Suri from the same role. The changes were approved by the board at its meeting held on September 28, 2026.

Dobariya, who brings over 24 years of experience in the power and energy sector, will serve for a term of five years subject to shareholder approval. He holds a Master of Technology from IIT Bombay and a Bachelor of Engineering from Nirma Institute of Technology. Currently serving as Director and CEO of Panacean, his expertise spans generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, energy efficiency, system planning, grid integration, battery energy storage systems, and technical advisory.

Board composition changes

The appointment follows recommendations by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Dobariya’s tenure as additional director will continue until the conclusion of the company’s annual general meeting. The filing confirmed that Dobariya has no relationship with other directors of the company and is not debarred from holding office by the Securities and Exchange Board of India or any other authority.

Concurrently, the board accepted Paras Suri’s resignation from the position of non-executive independent director with immediate effect. Suri cited personal reasons for stepping down and confirmed there were no other material reasons for his departure. He does not hold directorships in any other listed entity. The board expressed appreciation for Suri’s guidance and assistance during his tenure.
