Amentum (NYSE: AMTM) has secured a five-year, $77M firm-fixed price contract from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to deliver modernized, AI-powered supply chain solutions for the Pentagon and other federal customers in Japan. The 60-month agreement covers logistics operations support for U.S. military installations within the Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) area of responsibility, aiming to enhance operational readiness in a strategic region through seamless supply chain management.

Contract Scope and Objectives

The contract mandates Amentum to provide end-to-end supply chain services, leveraging artificial intelligence to modernize logistics operations. This initiative is designed to support the Pentagon and various federal clients operating across Japan, ensuring efficient and reliable supply chain mechanisms for critical military functions. AI tools will be incorporated into the program to enhance demand planning, forecasting, and catalog management to improve customer order fulfillment and delivery.
