Credent Global Finance Schedules EGM to Approve ₹3,500 Crore Capital Raising Through QIP

3 days agoCredent Global Finance Limited has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting for November 10, 2025, to seek shareholder approval for raising up to ₹3,500 crore through a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP). The company plans to issue equity shares with a face value of ₹2 each to qualified institutional buyers in one or more tranches. The funds will be utilized to augment the company's capital base for NBFC activities and general corporate purposes. The Board approved this proposal in meetings held on October 10 and October 14, 2025. If approved through QIP, the pricing will follow SEBI ICDR regulations with a possible discount of up to 5% on the floor price. A minimum 10% allocation is reserved for mutual funds, and allotted shares will have a one-year lock-in period. The allotment must be completed within 365 days of the resolution approval.
Credent Global Finance Limited's Board of Directors approved raising funds up to ₹3,500 lakhs through a Qualified Institutions Placement of equity shares or other equity-linked securities. The approval is subject to shareholder consent. The company appointed Socradamus Capital Private Limited as the Book Running Lead Manager for the QIP issue.
