Information Services Group (ISG), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm listed on Nasdaq under the ticker III, has launched a comprehensive research study evaluating service providers within the Oracle cloud and technology ecosystem. The initiative aims to assess vendors helping enterprises maximize value from Oracle’s cloud, AI, and applications portfolio as organizations accelerate digital transformation. The study results will be published in a series of ISG Provider Lens reports titled "Oracle Cloud and Technology Ecosystem," scheduled for release in November 2026.

The research covers companies offering professional services, including consulting, implementation, and integration; managed services; and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions. ISG has distributed surveys to more than 75 Oracle cloud and technology ecosystem providers to gather data for the evaluation. Enterprise buyers will use these insights to evaluate current vendor relationships, identify potential new engagements, and compare available offerings, while ISG advisors will utilize the research to guide clients through complex transformation and platform investment decisions.

Heiko Henkes, managing director at ISG, emphasized the strategic importance of specialized expertise in this landscape. "Enterprises are increasingly focused on turning Oracle’s AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes," Henkes said. "Providers with deep Oracle expertise and specialized AI capabilities will be essential in helping enterprises accelerate Oracle-led business transformation." This focus reflects Oracle’s strengthening position in enterprise AI and cloud through continued investment in OCI, AI-enabled applications, and strategic cloud partnerships.

The study will produce three distinct quadrants representing the Oracle cloud and technology services typical enterprises are purchasing. These categories allow for granular assessment of provider capabilities across different service models:

Service Category Evaluation Focus
Professional Services Consulting, implementation, and integration support for Oracle deployments, AI adoption, and third-party ecosystem integration.
Managed Services Lifecycle management, AI-enabled operations, and continuous improvement of Oracle application and database environments.
OCI Solutions Modernization of OCI environments, secure scalable cloud infrastructure, and acceleration of cloud-native transformation.

Geographically focused reports from the study will cover the global Oracle cloud and technology ecosystem market, specifically examining products and services available in Asia Pacific, Brazil, the U.K., and the U.S. ISG analysts Cristiane Tarricone (Brazil), Maharshi Pandya and Sonam Chawla (Asia Pacific), Roman Pelzel (U.K.), and Siddharth Idnani (U.S.) will serve as authors of the respective regional reports. Companies not currently listed as Oracle cloud and technology ecosystem providers can contact ISG to request inclusion in the study.

All 2026 ISG Provider Lens evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data, capturing real-world enterprise feedback on specific provider services and solutions based on ISG’s continuous CX research. This addition aims to provide a more holistic view of vendor performance beyond technical capabilities, incorporating actual user satisfaction and operational impact metrics into the final assessments.

How might the inclusion of expanded customer experience (CX) data in the 2026 reports shift vendor selection criteria compared to previous technical-only evaluations?

What competitive pressures could this study place on Oracle ecosystem providers in regions like Brazil and Asia Pacific where local digital transformation adoption is accelerating?

Could the distinction between OCI Solutions and Managed Services lead to market consolidation among smaller specialized vendors?
