SUGS Lloyd Secures Strategic Fault Passage Indicator Contract from DGVCL

Sugs Lloyd Limited, a prominent integrated EPC player specializing in electrical transmission and distribution, solar, and civil projects, has announced a significant contract win from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL). The turnkey project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Fault Passage Indicators (FPIs) across 7 KV to 13 KV overhead lines in Gujarat.

Project Details

The contract encompasses the installation of state-of-the-art FPIs using insulated hot sticks (20 KV) at every 600-metre unit. This strategic implementation is designed to:

• Boost grid resilience
• Minimize downtime
• Ensure faster restoration during outages

The project is set for completion within two months, following a 45-day mobilization period.
