VitalHub Corp. subsidiary Novari Health has secured agreements to deploy its referral management and wait list software technologies at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and across the Northern Health region of British Columbia. These implementations are designed to modernize the delivery of surgical, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services, improving access to care and organizational efficiency. The contracts mark an expansion for Novari, which already serves clients in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Deployment

At Sunnybrook, Novari technologies are being deployed alongside the hospital's implementation of a single health information system. The integration complements existing electronic medical record and picture archiving systems. The Novari ATC module will manage complex surgical wait lists and optimize operating room utilization to reduce backlogs. Additionally, referral management modules will streamline workflows for inpatient and outpatient clinics. The Medical Imaging Requisition Management solution will integrate with Sunnybrook's new Oracle health information system to digitize radiology workflows.

Northern Health Implementation

Northern Health, covering approximately 600,000 square kilometers in northern British Columbia, is implementing the Novari ATC surgical wait list management module to increase elective surgery throughput. The region is also deploying the Medical Imaging Requisition Management module across 28 sites to handle community referrals. A configurable referral management module, Novari eRequest, will manage laboratory requisitions and enable a regional central intake model. Automated referral transcription features will be used to reduce manual processing. The software will integrate with Oracle Health and the AGFA Enterprise Imaging PACS system.
